Terms and Conditions for survey participation prize draw

These are the terms and conditions applicable to the prize draw advertised in relation to the Pharmaceutical Press Surveys run from 6th November to 27th November 2023.

1. How to participate

1.1. All individuals who participate in the Pharmaceutical Press Survey and are over the age of 18 are automatically entered into this prize draw.

1.2. All entries must include your name, email address, and date of birth.

1.3. Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions will be void and will not be entered into this prize draw.

1.4. This prize draw is only open to individuals living and working in Great Britain.

1.5. You may only submit one entry per person into this prize draw. Entries over the maximum number of entries will be void and will not be entered into this prize draw.

2. Start date

This prize draw will start at midday on 6th November 2023.

3. Closing date

The closing date for this prize draw will be midnight on 27th November 2023. Entries received by the RPS after this time will be void and will not be entered into this prize draw.

4. Selection of the winner

a. There will be one winner of this prize draw.

b. The winner of the prize draw will be the first entrant randomly selected from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions

5. Prize

a. The prize is as follows: £100 of Pharmaceutical Press books.

b. The value of the prize is £100 as at the date of the start of the prize draw.

c. The RPS will not offer a cash alternative for the prize.

d. The prize is non-transferable and does not include any additional costs and expenses.

6. Restrictions and requirements

a. Please note the following restrictions and requirements apply:

b. Entrants must be individuals living and working in Great Britain only. You must:

i. Be over the age of eighteen years; and

ii. Have participated in the Pharmaceutical Press Survey.

c. Employees of the RPS and their immediate families are ineligible to enter this prize draw.

7. Notification of the results and receipt of the prize

a. The RPS will notify the winner by email on or before 4th December 2023.

b. The winner will receive their prize on or before 9th January 2023.

8. Publicity and personal information

a. The RPS will use your personal information only in accordance with these terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy.

b. The surname and county of the winner can be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Marketing Team, Pharmaceutical Press, 66-68 East Smithfield London E1W 1AW.

c. If you do not want your surname and county included on the list of winners referred to above, you must notify the RPS a reasonable period of time before the closing date of the prize draw.

d. You acknowledge that you may be asked to participate in publicity if you are selected as a winner.

9. General

a. This prize draw is operated by The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPS), a company incorporated under England by Royal Charter (RC000799) and having its principal place of business at 66-68 East Smithfield, London, E1W 1AW.

b. While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit the RPS’ liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, the RPS will not be legally responsible to entrants or winners for any losses that were not foreseeable to the RPS or to the entrant at the time of entry to the prize draw or which are caused by a third party.

c. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
