Bruno is a US-based editor from the pharmaceutical industry. Bruno’s career in formulation development includes working on spray dried dispersions, powder technology, and product design, including computational drug product design. Along with editing Pharmaceutical Excipients, he has co-authored several chapters. This includes a short-form resource on the use of counterions, and a colourful overview of the history of excipients.

David J Goldfarb

David is a US-based industry expert currently leading a group that support late-stage product development. His work in formulation and process development covers oral solid and liquid dosage forms as well as topicals. David was also one of the first chapter authors, developing a key resource on excipient functional categories for the Handbook.

Gary P Moss

Gary is a senior lecturer in Pharmaceutics in UK Academia. Gary brings a wealth of expertise in the topical use of excipients to the board, with a current research focus on experimental and in silico percutaneous absorption. With over 10 years’ experience as contributing author, he has also served as a member of the advisory board, the International Steering Committee.

Dr Pamela Mason

Pamela is a pharmaceutical and nutrition writer and consultant based in the UK. She qualified as a pharmacist and worked as a community pharmacist for several years before completing a MSc and PhD in nutrition. Pam has taught nutrition to pharmacists at undergraduate and postgraduate level, authored three additional books and written over 300 articles in this topic area.

Barbara has an extensive background in medical academia and is currently a reader and honorary consultant in Intensive Care Medicine in the Brighton and Sussex Medical School and Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals.

Greg is a specialist pharmacist in Critical Care and Burns at St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Greg was awarded an MBE in the 2021 Queen’s New Years honours list for services to pharmacy.

Dr Paul Howard

Paul is a consultant in palliative medicine and medicines optimisation lead with Mountbatten Hospice, Isle of Wight, working in inpatient, community and hospital palliative care, the latter with the Isle of Wight NHS Trust Integrated Palliative and End of Life Care Team. A Palliative Care Formulary editor since 2007, his primary focus is palliative neuropharmacology.

Andrew has over 30 years’ experience as a clinical academic in palliative medicine. Together with Dr Robert Twycross, he co-founded palliativedrugs.com and also the Palliative Care Formulary, that has recently celebrated its 25 year anniversary. Other international books co-authored with colleagues include Symptom Management in Advanced Cancer and Introducing Palliative Care.

Claire is a consultant in palliative medicine at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust and Mountbatten Hampshire, working primarily in hospice and community settings. She has over 15 years’ experience as an author and editor of palliative care textbooks.

Tony is Emeritus Professor of Pharmaceutical Analysis at the UCL School of Pharmacy and a long-standing editor of Clarke’s Analysis of Drugs and Poisons, involved since it’s 1st edition. Tony’s career has spanned over 20 years in the UKs Forensic Science Service and seen an appointment as the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Chief Scientist.
